8 came way to quickly this morning

The Exchange front end server upgrade last night/this morning was a bust and didn't get to bed until 2:30. I'm pretty positive that the issue was out of my hands. The problem, though, I requested this to be checked 10 days ago. This'll be the last time I assume anything at the workplace. I think I started off on the wrong foot because I was watching Office Space before heading out there. Definitely could've used a fax machine to beat the shit out of...
man, apparently I didn't see enough of Czech Republic while there...

...because it would seem they have some interesting vehicle decals. And Google Maps kinda missed the naughty spots. (warning, this isn't completely work and kid friendly)

haha! Chicago has an area called "viagra triangle"
Posted by: Travis
So I was perusing by MTV and the show True Life was on called "I'm Dating Someone Older." Apparently there's a place on the northern side of Chicago called "Viagra Triangle"?
So named for the abundance of mostly-affluent older men who frequent the local bars, and the "triangle" where State and Rush Streets come together (with East Bellevue Street being the base of the triangle, anchored by Gibson's restaurant, the unofficial headquarters).
The gentle ecosystem of the Viagra Triangle could not exist without a fully-stocked pond of anxious, and artificially infertile females.

excellent document explaining VMWare ESX memory

We had some questions about a vm and its memory usage and the difference between "memory granted" and "memory consumed" was a bit confusing...until I found this PDF document:
http://www.xs4all.nl/~omerta/VI%203.5%20Memory%20Statistic%20Definitions.pdf
Basically, memory granted is the actual amount allocated to the guest and memory consumed is the amount of this memory actually being used (which is different from "active memory"). Memory granted and consumed may be different due to the memory similarities of another vm. So the consumed value could easily be below the granted value. Pretty neat stuff!

Great game by both the Colts and Saints, but the Saints had a better night.

Mickie D's brought back the basketball commercial during the Super Bowl! Now where the hell was MJ though? Larry Bird and no MJ!? Maybe that'll be for their next commercial?
Vancouver Olympics could be a bit interesting this year...

Constantly trucking snow off the mountains isn't a good sign. Then again, what do you expect with average temps like these...

Sooooo hey, let's have the WINTER Olympics in a place where the average January high in the 40's!

I think this game is made by Blizzard (look at the release delays of Starcraft 2 and Diablo)
