that'll be the last time I pre-order anything from Walmart

Posted by: Travis

Pre-ordered a dvd on the 5th, received a message on the 13th stating the order has shipped and today, the 20th, I track the order only to see that USPS was notified about an electronic shipment. Next time I'll stick with Amazon!

Ok, UPS passed it on to USPS on the 17th in Ohio. Sooooo...where is the dvd now?

honestly, I don't understand why more airlines aren't doing this

You have someone sitting in a seat for multiple hours so of course they're going to be looking at the back of a seat. Very smart idea!

Donating this year? Uncle Sam needs your help

Posted by: Travis

WTF!? So taxes pay for what? Services yes, but I'm not going to "donate" more if our government just decides to spend more. How 'bout someone donating me $10 to help pay for a new tv??

now I know what $1 million looks like going INTO the water...

This an update to an article posted earlier in the week. It would seem someone caught that Bugatti Veyron sliding into the water. If nothing else, it created a big splash! Explanation of "what happened" by the owner was rather, ah, not correct as seen from the video.

EDIT: Actually, if you look closely, you can see the bird and the remnants after the hit. Man...that's gotta suck!

Exchange 2007 and PST file importing FYI

Posted by: Travis

When importing a PST file (created by any version of Outlook) based on a POP3 account make sure to have SP2 of the Exchange management tools installed on the machine you're doing the import from. We ran into a problem where importing via Powershell showed successful (0 items failed), but it actually wasn't getting imported. Apparently there was an attribute missing in the PST file that causes issues with Management Tools previous to SP1 update 1. Installing SP2 of the Management Tools fixed the issue.

So here it is, my first website (at least a picture of the front page). Some of the pictures don't work, but you get the idea. It was a keeper. :) And here's the midi that played in the background.

"nice'n smooth"

Eh...memories. :)

Now back to watching the Demo's and Repub's bickering like 2nd graders. It's no wonder our government never gets things done.

Like a huge-ass wing on the front that'll cause other drivers to laugh so hard that accidents are bound to occur?

I was sad to hear that Nohemi's grandfather Abuelo passed away this morning. It was a pleasure to have met him and I'll be praying for the family.

looks like Amazon and Walmart are duking it out over Christmas sales

Posted by: Travis

Walmart comes out with the top ten upcoming DVD's for $10, then Amazon does the same. Walmart, this morning, has a pretty amazing deal where you can get the XBOX 360 Arcade for $199 plus a $100 gift card. Checked out Amazon's website and they now have the exact same thing.

Walmart also has some pretty amazing flat-panel deals this morning...very hard to resist but alas, I will again pass on the purchase...for now...

A family member of a close friend is dealing with some difficult times right now. I'm praying for the best, but if it is his time then let's hope for a quick and painless passing.
